A Killing Coro

There was a murder in Corozal On Sunday afternoon. It happened between miles 70 and 71 on the Northern Highway, between Buena Vista and Santa Clara Villages.

25 year old SANTOS ALBERTO RAMIREZ, a Salvadoran who is a Naturalized Belizean from Altamira Area in Corozal Town, was found with multiple stab wounds to the chest and back, as well as a slashed throat. He was found about 18 feet off the road.

He had last been seen on Saturday night at around 10:00 socializing with friends a Bar in the Finca Solana Area of Corozal Town. Police have detained several persons for questioning.
