Like most students, the boys and girls of the Stella Maris Academy on Princess Margaret Drive are on vacation. But sadly, heartless thieves who prey on school property have not taken a holiday from criminal activity. According to police, Stella Maris' Vice Principal Dana Staine reported that sometime between five on Wednesday evening and nine thirty on Thursday morning, a thief or thieves broke into the school's computer lab and stole four computers and two flat screen monitors. The equipment is valued at just under five thousand dollars. The public is urged not to purchase the stolen goods. If you have any information that can assist police in recovering the items, please call the nearest station or the Crimestoppers hotline.
