Thirty-five year old Shane "Shanie Mack" Espinosa, charged with Robbery, was sentenced to 5 years imprisonment after he was found guilty today in the #8 Magistrate's court.

On February 1, 2011, Taxi driver Earl Smith testified that Espinosa met him at the Pound Yard Bridge taxi stand and hired him to go to Kraal Road. Smith said that when they reached Kraal Road, Espinosa told him to drive to Boots Crescent. When they got there, Espinosa told him to turn off the car engine and then placed a gun to the back of his head and told him to hand over his belongings.

Smith said he gave Espinosa $50, his Razor cell phone and his car keys. Smith said Espinosa gave him back his car keys and left.
