The Police today released the details on the bomb threat that was called in to Atlantic Bank yesterday.

As everyone suspected it was directly related to the 2:00 pm meeting between the BSI workers and Representatives of the Banco Atlantida Investment Group.

Police say that the caller said, quote, ""There is a bomb inside and outside the bank, and Mrs. Pott not to buy over BSI." Now, we don't know who Mrs. Pott is but the message is clear, "not to buy over BSI."

An act of worthless mischief, but nonetheless it had to be taken seriously forced the closure of the bank and Freetown Road for two and a half hours. No bomb was found and fortunately the meeting was not postponed; that was moved over to the Radisson and went ahead as planned.
