Customs Officer Not Guilty

33 year old former junior customs officer, Aruny Perez, is not guilty of forgery.

That's what a jury of six women and three men found today after just less than four hours of deliberation.

The allegation was that he had facilitated the disappearance of a container of pseudo-ephedrine with the forgery of three official customs documents.

That happened in September of 2008.
