Last night we told you how a Jamaican man and three others - including a 68 year old woman - were busted with commercial quantities of compressed marijuana - 13.2 pounds to be exact.

Well today they went to court and all four were charged for drug trafficking. 45 year old Deon WRIGHT, a Jamaican woodcarver, 33 year old Kissy Rondean WRIGHT, a teacher, 20 year old Rodlicia COLLIARD, a domestic and 68 year old Dellis MARIANO, all of Number two Nurse Wright Street.

They pleaded not guilty in court before Chief Magistrate Anne Marie Smith. And then, a most unusual thing happened: they were each offered bail of three hundred dollars.

Unusual because the street value of the drugs is about twelve thousand dollars - and bail for such a quantity would usually be in the thousands of dollars.

But it wasn't - which raised more than a few eyebrows in the courtroom - but it stood, and all four were able to meet bail.
