City Shooting Leaves 17 Year-Old Injured

There was a non-fatal shooting in the city - not too far from here - about half an hour ago.

It happened at the end of Albert Street near ACC.

When we got there police were looking for expended shells with a flashlight.

They had already recovered the bicycle of the victim.

As we understand it, his name is Kevin Alvarez, who told police he doesn't know who shot him.

Alvarez is reported to be 17 years old and from the Supal street area.

While we were there, police managed to recover a 9 millimeter expended shell from the scene.

We'll have more on this shooting on Monday's newscast...
