Man Busted With 52 Pounds Of Cannabis

Mark Sacasa was "on a move" yesterday when police intercepted him at the Hattieville checkpoint. Apparently, police had information and at 5:00 pm, they intercepted a Geo Prizm. Inside the trunk they found 23.332 kilos, 51 pounds of marijuana stuffed inside a crocus sack.

When Sacasa appeared in court today, the Ministry of Works employee was denied bail. Magistrate Albert Hoare denied Sacassa bail because of the quantity of cannabis involved, and remanded him into custody until January 3rd, 2012.
