Benque Police are reporting that their second main suspect in the murder of Canadian Brian Townsend has been found dead, presumably murdered.
Guatemalan Belizean Raulito Balona was reportedly found shot to death in Arenal Guatemala, and the authorities believe that it happened within the past 2 days.
Little is known at this time as the circumstances surrounding his violent death, but investigators are looking closely at the fact that Raulito Balona and his brother, Marlon Effrain Flores, known in the media also as Marlon Balona, were found dead in separate circumstances. Marlon's body was found on January 19 on a feeder road in the La Gracia area, and it had abrasions to the neck and chest.
Before they were found killed, Belize police were actively searching for them as suspects in the murder of Brian Townsend, who went missing on Christmas Day in the Valley of Peace.
