Bullets also flew in the Carrillo Puerto area of Santa Elena, Cayo. It happened last night at around 7:30 when 26-year-old Debbiedee Clark says she heard what sounded like firecrackers, however, she quickly realized that she had been shot.
That's when she took action, doing everything in her power to get her children to safety. She, unfortunately, sustained three bullet wounds. We heard more from Assistant Commissioner of Police Joseph Myvette this morning.

"On yesterday's date sometime around 7:30 pm San Ignacio police were called to Carillo Puerto Avenue in San Ignacio where they met one Debbiedee Clark a resident of that said street who reported to police that shortly before the report was made a male person on a motorcycle rode by and fired several shots in her house during which she was injured by some of those gunshots. At this point in time, the police are investigating, we do not have a clear motive at this point in time, however, we were told and have not yet been able to confirm that a known George street gang figure was frequenting the home for the better part of yesterday's date."
Clark was unable to see the gunman.
