Murillo also told us about the final 3 of the 28 prison escapees who remain on the run, they are Erwin Lanza, Micheal Faux, and Jaroud Lamb. Lanza was arrested for possession of a 3-inch marijuana plant and a firearm. The other two are convicted murderers; Lamb was initially convicted of a 2013 murder carried out during a robbery at Belmopan's La Choza Bar. Faux is meant to be serving a life sentence for the cold-blooded murder of city resident Sidley Bradley who he allegedly shot in his door mouth.

Here's what Murillo had to say about the last of the escapees.

"And the now speaking of high tensions we know that there was a massive outbreak earlier this year, 3 of those men are still on the run. Can you tell us who they are and give us an update on them?"

Virgilio Murillo, C.E.O, Kolbe Foundation
"The 3 that are outstanding is Michael Faux, Erwin Lanza and Jarod Arthurs Lamb. I don't have any update on them. I know there are sighting of them every so often and the police as well as the prison is very much relentless in getting them back and we will keep up the vigilance and the motivation to get them back into the prison as soon as possible. It is just a matter of the good citizen calling the authorities and pointing out where they are and we are going to go and grab them. So we need that good citizen to call the prison and tell the prison where they are. Obviously they are being maintained either through fear or just somebody wanting to cover them, but we are hoping that sometime soon they will be caught."

The Guatemalan nationals who had escaped from the Kolbe foundation have been recaptured. All three remaining escapees are Belizean nationals.
