Last week we told you about Leary Simon, a 27-year-old resident of Santa Elena who was fighting for his life at the K.H.M.H after he'd been shot on Reggae Street.
Well, Simon died on Friday, succumbing to his injuries just after midday. He had been on life support for some time before that.
And while the cops have still been unable to link his shooting to the targeting of David Galindo which took place in Leary's hometown, they have been busy detaining suspects in relation to the act of violence that has now become a murder.

"Reference the shooting of Leary Simon, he was pronounced dead at 1:05 on the 12th day of March 2021, reference this investigation several persons were detained and interviewed and later released for lack of evidence our investigation into this matter continues."
