And by the time the cops got to Alwin Alvarez at around 7:30 on Friday night, he'd already been shot.
It's a case of muddled and unreliable details because Alvarez who is mentally challenged and had been walking in gang turf and area has been unable to give an accurate statement.
It's a circumstance that's left the cops reliant on the results of his X-Ray which, fortunately for him, ruled out a gunshot injury for a simple puncture wound. Here's more.
Cherisse Halsall:
"Sir the shooting of Alwin Alvarez on Zacharanda Street?"
Sr. Supt Hilberto Romero
"Ok on Friday the 12th of March 2021 police responded to a shooting in the St. Martin De Porres neighborhood around the arrival they found Alvarez with a small hole on his lower back, he was taken to the KHMH where he is presently listed in a stable condition. Investigation revealed that he was in that area when he heard a popping sound and realized that he had been hit to the back an X-ray will be done today to determine what type of weapon was used to shoot him."
"An investigation is being conducted. I can report that an X-ray was done and it is just a puncture injury and not a gunshot injury that he received from some object."
