Earlier in the news we told you about the murder of James Gordon last night, but only a couple hours after he was shot, there was another shooting. The two incidents aren't related but the victim in this case is well known to police. Today, Superintendent Alejandro Cowo gave us the details.

"Last night at about 9pm, police visited the KHMH where they observed Mr Eugene Tillett suffering from gunshot wounds to the body. Just before 9pm Mr Tillett was inside of his house when someone came from Electric Avenue, ran inside of his yard and fired several shots at his direction causing his injuries. He is still admitted and in a stable condition."

"Any motive behind the shooting?"
Alejandro Cowo
"We know Mr Tillett is well known to police and we believe some kind of dispute he has around with some persons in that area may have led to that shooting."

"Are you concerned that this may be the start of more gang activity?"
Alejandro Cowo
"Well not necessarily but you know everybody sometimes they wait for the opportunity and when they can capitalize they go ahead and do it."
