He's the last casualty of Park Fest, a young man who disappeared in the wee hours of the morning after and was assumed dead since Tuesday when an anonymous tip prompted the search for 20-year-old Emir Casimiro's remains.
Tonight, the narrative of his murder is one of a cruel and callous incident, with the murders thought to have walked the young man into the dark before firing at him at close range.
I visited the scene today and brought back the following story:
After two days of fruitless searching and combing through police surveillance videos, Emir Cansino's family got the news they had been dreading: Emir was found dead, his body hidden just off the John Smith road after being riddled with gunshots.
We caught up with his father at the scene:

Emir Cansino Sr. - Father of the deceased
"Well, it's tough to find your loved one in this kind of situation because they treated our loved one like a dog, noh. It's rough for both of us but you know a mother will always feel it more than a father feeling wise so she has to be strong same way because she has her family the same way supporting her too. That day, the first time we came everybody was moving at the same pace with the same space and so we came up with a different idea now. We said it would be better if everyone just goes their own distance, everybody just combs their own area then we will meet up at the end and then from there, we had a plan to go and check another side."
But there was no need, because today's second search area finally yielded results.

Jose UC Espat - Leader of the search party
"One of the front vehicles called, it was Ms Lydia or Mr. Jason called and he said look we are at the front and there is a scent coming out from the road and there are some vultures around so we could check here and by the time I got here from the back there were several persons already off the road so Mr Alison and myself we went to the scene there and we tried to remove the people so that they don't contaminate the scene."
Emir Cansino Sr.
"And da soh one of the crowd, the van with the nurses them saw the body first."
Cherisse Halsall
"Sir, has anything about the circumstances of where and how Emir was found told you anything new about who might have done this?"
Emir Cansino Sr.
"Well, we were at the station this morning and they told us that they already have the people who they figure did this. It's just that only them know who did it and they said it's gunshots, they shot him up and made him walk into the area there and they shot him up right there."
It's a tragedy that affects the family's community of friends, many of whom joined them in the search. No one thought that Emir would wind up like this.
Emir Cansino Sr.
"He was somebody well known he wasn't a troublemaker, he just had his own lifestyle of how he wanted to be. So that's the thing that has a lot of people hurt and then his mother was well known the same way."
Cherisse Halsall
"Was there ever any new information from the surveillance cameras on the street where he disappeared, well when they showed us the camera, the video it was from behind renaissance there, Newtown barracks that was the last up to the camera where they showed us we had footage of where he was standing from there. He was standing with some friends at that location, no, they said they were supposed to get more footage to see how much further he reached and which vehicle he got into."
Jose UC Espat
"The family knows, the family knows and the streets know exactly what happen and as far as I am concerned and the information that I got from my canvassing is that he was not the intended target, he was with the wrong company at the wrong time."
And while those mysteries remains Emir's father is grateful at least that the search for his son has come to an end.
Emir Cansino
"Thank god we have closure now to just do the burial, we are going to give him a better, lay him to rest so thank god we've come to it."
Casimiro was just 20-years-old
Reports to 7 news are that his death may have been used to send a message to one of his family members.
