But that devotion to Tanga James is in the rearview mirror now for Mary Beth Wade - she has to focus on her own survival amidst various rival gangs. Which is why she went to the US seeking amnesty.
And the focus of her ire this week is Chester Williams - who told the media she is a person of interest in the murder. She says - the Commissioner should know better - and in ventilating that, explained the complexities of her intimate entanglements with other gang figures:

"Nobody is illiterate and Chester is the biggest, I don't know what to call him, because he's not thinking. He wants fame off of my name it looks like too but immigration me no scared fi go. First of all. immigration did their investigation before. First of all, immigration had me detained for a week. Immigration did the full thing about me to see if I had any record, what I did in Belize if I had any record in America, everything they did they held me for seven days before they released me. I'm not like a lot of Belizeans that are out here asking for asylum and don't have a reason why they are running for their life."

"All of a sudden Chester is going by you say me say, all of a sudden because my auntie went live yesterday. All of a sudden now and I was in Belize for seven months and you never yet questioned me or detained me yet. What is the problem now, now it's because the picture with me and BT surface. So they want to say of BT killed Tanga for me, that is what people are trying to say bullSHIT."
"Because of the voice clip and where my auntie went live yesterday because my auntie is trying to send me back to Belize. She is trying to have them extradite me or get me back in but Chester knows he can't ask for me to come back to Belize because they didn't find any evidence implicating me as a murderer and Chesta know deep down in his saking, evil wicked heart that I don't have anything to do with Tanga's death, he knows it."
"I was in Belize 7 months and nobody detained me and you know that because you met me at the station. I called you before I gave them my phone and told you to meet me. So in that half an hour where you came to meet me how would I have been detained? How? How?"
Wade plans to launch another of her infamous Facebook live broadcasts on Sunday.
As you heard she has an immigration attorney and told us today that she's progressing in her quest for asylum.
