A store owner from tiny Hope Creek village has been left badly injured after three men - one of them armed - stormed into Hope Creek Supermarket and held him at gunpoint.
It happened at about 8:30 this morning when the men all dressed in traffic vests, caps, and face masks entered the store. While one of them threatened the store owner Bigan Li, the others were taking money from the cash register and stealing Lee's Wallet and cellphone.
And just before they left they left the gunman whipped Li in the head with the firearm causing a cut wound at the centre of his head.
All told they got away with $2000.00 from the cash register, $600.00 from Li's wallet, Li's firearm and a box of ammunition valued at $2,675.00 from around his waist, and a cellphone.
