Police have released details of yesterday afternoon's terrifying robbery in the Yabra area of Belize City - where the robbers put a gun to a child's head.
The owner of Fantasia Restaurant on Queens Charlotte Street, 47 year old Zhong Qian, told the cops that at about 1:45, three men arrived at the customer window and ordered a case of soft drinks. He had to open the main gate to get the case of drinks out, and when he did, all three of them forced open the gate and barged into the shop. One of them took out a gun and held it to the forehead of Qian's son, and then proceeded to steal an undisclosed amount of cash and electronic items.
Police have made no arrests.
