And back in November, we reported on a triple murder that took the lives of Jareem Davis, Emerson Garcia, and Charleston Jenkins. Police have not made any arrests, but on December 2nd, the home where they were killed in Sandhill was reduced to ashes after a fire broke out.
The fire department has confirmed it was arson, and now the police are investigating.
ASP Fitzroy Yearwood, Communications Officer, Police Department
"They concluded their investigation, but since they have handed it over to the police, our investigators are interviewing several persons. What I can share with you is that clearly the fire department has indicated that this is a result of arson. So with that now, we are expecting Sand Hill Police to make their next step into this investigation and as soon as I have something, I will share it with you."
Reporter
"Is there any investigation into the murder that took place at that home?"
ASP Fitzroy Yearwood
"Murder cases are not closed after a week or two, they remain open for as long as needs be until we make arrest in that case."
