Last night we took you inside attorney Dickie Bradley's perusal of the Ahmad murder file for a re-examination of whether a new case should be opened against Corporal Elmer Nah, a man whose name was called in the murder trial against Michelle Brown.

But when the file was re-opened the only statement from or concerning Elmer Nah was a statement that had to do with his phone records referencing threats sent to the Ahmad family. As we told you Nah's numbers were associated with those texts. Still, there is no way to prove that he sent them. Here's how the Commissioner of police explained that quandary.

Chester Williams, Commissioner of Police

"We. Investigated everything, including the numbers that the text messages were allegedly coming from and during that process we had applied to BTL to get the phone records of those phones and again from BTL, the phone records showed that there was absolutely no communication between that number and. The number that allegedly received those texts. So it was our conclusion that the messages were fake messages created by someone to create mischief."

Nah's statement claimed that one of the phones was given away to one of his elderly family members.
