We also asked the commissioner for an update on the reported drug plane that may have landed in the Toledo District. He said police did a flyover without success and are in the thick jungles of Toledo still searching:
Jules Vasquez
"Can't find this plane yet."
Chester Williams, Commissioner of Police
"Yeah, we did a fly-over yesterday and it yielded no success. We still have officers in the area on foot trying to comb as much as they can to see if we are going to come up with anything. Again, it goes to show that we are not in the habit of covering nothing. We could have simply given up and say the plane did not land, but we want to be sure as to whether or not it landed in Belize so that we can give the nation an accurate briefing."
