Mexicans Allegedly Stole Two Rental Cars

Today, a pair of Mexican men were dragged to court - accused of trying to jack 2 Budget Auto-Rental Cars valued at $60,000 dollars each.

28 year old Alejandro Jair Gonzalez Vasquez, and 37 year old Carlos Francisco Moralez, 37, were charged for the theft of two $60,000 vehicles - a 2020 Kia Sorento and a 2022 Chevy Equinox - both allegedly stolen from Budget Auto Rental.

They were charged jointly and remanded without a plea being taken. The allegation is that on July 22, 2023, the men colluded to steal the vehicles.

So, for now, the Mexicans are on remand at the Belize Central Prison until their next court date set for October 23, 2023.
