Last week's newscast was filled with reports and stories from the grieving families of those who lost their loved ones in two separate quadruple road traffic fatalities.
Police could not hold anyone accountable for the first quadruple fatality that happened on the Hummingbird Highway on November 27th - since it was a single vehicle accident and the driver died.
But they have managed to detain the individual who is said to have caused the second quadruple fatality that occurred near Georgeville days after the first one. ACP Romero gave us more details today.

ACP Hilberto Romero, OC Eastern Division
"Reference the fatal RTA that occurred on 29 November 2023 Alejandro Hernandez has since been arrested and charged for four counts of manslaughter by negligence, causing death by careless conduct, drove motor vehicle without due care and attention and negligent grievous harm."
