A man alleged to be a major con artist - and one with some political protection - was arrested by San Pedro police. He is 52 year old Alex Nunez - and there are a flood of complaints against him alleging fraud.
Nunez was arrested on Monday for four counts of obtaining property by deception including land fraud and shady real estate set-up's. This includes selling a parcel of land that was already owned by someone else and then allegedly refusing to return the money.
Since his arrest for that charge - others have been going into the station to make similar complaints.
Today in court, he was read 9 charges of obtaining property by deception and received bail.
