Thieves Stole Vessel From Stake Bank

Stake Bank is back in the news, but not for the usual reasons. Last night around 11:00 there was a robbery at the staging ground for the project which is at mile 5 on the George Price Highway.

The security guard told police that he and another guard were on the compound when 4 men approached them, one of whom had a firearm. The men forced them to the ground and tied them up. One of them then stole a Columbian vessel that was docked, and all 4 men made their escape in that vessel. Police are investigating.
