Budna Says Homophobic Security Guard Assaulted Him

Some of you may have seen this video circulating on Facebook a week ago captured by Freelance Journalist Joseph Budna at the Novelos bus terminal.

Budna records an exchange between him and a security officer, 50 year old Martin Carcamo, who then proceeds to insult and assault him while in the presence of others. Carcamo, who was arraigned for Theft on July 2nd, appeared at the magistrates court again today and was read a single charge of common assault. He pleaded not guilty and was offered bail in the sum of $1,000 plus one surety which he managed to meet. Carcamo is due back in Court on September 12.
