There was a home invasion and kidnapping early this morning in the southern Cayo District.
It happened at a farm located next door to Palacio's Retreat on the Hummingbird Highway. 29 year old caretaker Devon Savery said that around 1:30 am, three armed, masked men jumped out of the bushes tied him up, took the keys for a 2019 GMC Terrain, and then threw him into the back of another vehicle parked on the property, a GMC Endeavor - both belonging to his boss.
That SUV ran out of gas at Hershey farm and they left it there with Savery tied up in the back.
He managed to get free and ran to St Margarets village where he went to police. The cops have recovered prints from the white endeavor and are now in search of three suspects.
