Back in June, we told you about one of the most lawless acts we had ever reported on: a gunman opened fire on the Roaring Creek police station - coming within centimeters of injuring an officer who was sitting on the balcony.

Well, three months later, police say it's an 18-Year-Old resident of Antelope Street in Belize City who did it.

And now Shamar Smith has been Arrested and Charged with "Aggravated Assault," "Damage to Property," and "Mischievous Act." The motive remains unclear.

At 12:30 on the morning of June 23rd, PC Amin Leslie was sitting when as many as 18 shots were fired at the front of the station. The weapon used was a 40 caliber pistol - which is a prohibited firearm.
