So because lead investigator ACP Suzette Anderson falls under Jones's supervision, does this give him the powers to control who Anderson should or should not interview or question?

He says he is allowing her to do her job.

Bart Jones, Acting Commissioner of Police
"Well in relation to this investigation, no stones will be left unturned and so we will see where it lies."

REPORTER-
"Are you getting any updates from ACP Anderson for this investigation?"

Bart Jones, Acting Commissioner of Police
"Yes, I speak to her from time to time, but I don't I'm not meddling with the investigation itself."

REPORTER-
"So as Commissioner of Police. Are you able to give directives in terms of an investigation to say talk to the officer at Arenal, talk to the officer who came out of that police station?"

Bart Jones, Acting Commissioner of Police
"But the assistant superintendent, Assistant Commissioner Anderson is a seasoned police officer, a seasoned investigator, and even from the media, you would have said that she has an impeccable reputation. And so, there's no need for us to to, to be, watching every step of her in terms of the investigation, but certainly, the office of the Commissioner of Police Instructional Investigations, from time to time."
