Major Drug and Gun Bust in Lord's Bank

Police have arrested and charged two people for three counts of Drug Trafficking following a major drug bust in Lord's Bank Village.

On Friday, October 3, officers carried out a house search in the village where they found 27-year-old Andre Lewis Belisle, a Belizean office assistant, and 21-year-old Monica Olga Bowden, a Belizean call center agent, inside the home.

During the search, police discovered approximately 4.89 pounds of cannabis.

Authorities also found a licensed black Glock pistol, 100 rounds of ammunition, and 27 grand in cash.

Belisle and Bowden have since been charged jointly for the drug offenses as investigations continue into the cash and firearm.
