The triple murder trial for Elmer Nah continued today with his cousin Amin Nah taking the stand as his alibi witness - which also brings to an end the trial within a trial. His cousin testified that he and Elmer were at Nah's house when they heard the gunshots go off in the neighborhood. After that they continued to socialize and Nah went inside to get his headlight so they can go outside to the back and check on his chickens, his cousin said. After putting his son to sleep he then went outside to look for Nah and that's when he saw 3 police officers outside the house searching for Nah.
During the cross examination Prosecutor Terrence Williams questioned Nah's cousin whether it was the first time he saw Nah's headlight and he said no.
The judge is now expected to rule on the trial within a trial before the end of December 2025.
