When the officers stopped and identified themselves with a view to conduct a search, Lord who was in the driver's seat, exited the vehicle and began to walk away. The officers observed that he went under his shirt and retrieved what appeared to be a firearm which he then threw which landed in a property on top of a dog house, Mr Lord was escorted to the area where the firearm landed and that firearm was observed to be a 9 millimeter pistol and a magazine containing 8 live rounds of 9 millimeters ammunition was also retrieved."

Lord appeared unrepresented this morning before a Chief Magistrate where he was read three criminal offenses, one count of kept unlicensed firearm, one count of kept unlicensed ammunition, and one count of possession of a firearm with the serial number removed.
