A mother of 3 says she was awakened from her bed at her home in West Landivar on Saturday morning, by the sounds of the GI3 banging on her door at 6:00AM.
She says that police came in and searched her home, allegedly without a warrant and no female officer present, notable because it was only her and her teenage daughters at home when the search happened.
She told us more about the incident she claims that has robbed her and her children of their inner peace.
Voice of: (Mother alleges unwarranted house search)
"They came and startled me out of my sleep and I am supposed to just allow you in my house to come and ransack my house and I have 2 teenage daughters at home. Now my girls are in their pjs, it is way out of context for any man to see my daughters in their pajamas. First of all I am in a t shirt and I am in underwear, everybody already saw my behind, not even gave me a minute to say Ms put on some clothes you know so he is at the door and I asked where his warrant is and he has no response. So he says it's a search for guns and ammunition. I said to present a warrant and I will let you in my home. They said they don't have time for that they are here to conduct a search for guns and ammunition."
"The search was for about 10 to 15 minutes, just in my dirty clothes in my draws under my daughters bed under my bed that was it, the bathroom that was it."
"Then he took out some underwear from the bottom draw that I sell, I used to have a clothing store so I still have some items left."
"Those were at the bottom of the draw, he took one out and he flipped it over and flipped it back and I was like? In the back of my mind what is the relevance? Those are drawers, they are panties. Why are you inspecting the panty so deep?"
"You know? Like they didn't even look under the couch or the cupboards or something of the sort to say okay if you have such credible information that guns and ammunition are here right?"
"My youngest, my 12 year old, she sleeps with me now since it happened. She gets up and she is like mom I hear something at the gate mom I hear this, the dogs are barking, that's to tell you how they have interrupted our peace."
When we interviewed her - she was in the process of filing a police report.
