There were more than 2 dozen evidence markers on the ground following last week's murder near the East Collet Canal. A mother was grazed and both of her children were shot, but only one of them survived, and today police told us who they charged for murder and attempted murder.

"As a consequence of Police's ongoing investigation into the shooting incident which claimed the life of Clinton Pou police have formally arrested and charged Luewin Link, a Belizean of a Belize district address, for the crime of murder. Link was additionally charged for the crime of attempted murder, use of deadly means of harm and dangerous harm in relation to Kiandra Pou."
"The angle that is being pursued is in relation to the shooting incident the murder of Mr Saldano."
"No other person is being sought at this moment however the investigation continues."

Today Luewin Link was arraigned in court and remanded.
