A 19 year old's death marks the 6th murder in the Belize District for this month. Giovanni Gillette joins Kiefer McKenzie, Erik Nelson, Derrick Morris, and Oscar Flota.
Gillette was inside a yard in Lords Bank last night at 7:55 with two other men when a man approached them and fired several shots. All three persons were injured and Gillette, along with one of the other victims, was rushed to the KHMH. They were both listed in a critical but stable condition, until this afternoon when Gillette succumbed to his injuries.
