And then in Bella Vista Village, Toledo, a suspect was discovered attempting to discard the evidence when this drug bust occurred.

"Police in Bella Vista have formally arrested and charged 40-year-old Roman Gamboa of Bella Vista Village for the offense of possession of controlled drugs with intent to supply another. The arrest follows a joint operation that was conducted by the specialized units operating in that area at 8:00 AM on 2nd July 2026. The arresting officer reported that Gamboa was observed digging in the soil in an open lot in an area that is known to be used by peddlers of drugs, and when the officers approached, he began to walk off and he was observed throwing a plastic bag."

"He was taken to where the plastic landed and that plastic was retrieved, and it was observed to contain 15 small aluminum foils, each containing suspected crack cocaine. Gamboa was also taken back to the location some 10 feet away where he was observed digging, and an additional 15 small foils of suspected crack cocaine were discovered. As a result of these findings, Gamboa was charged for two counts of possession of controlled drugs with an intent to supply, to wit 2.92 grams and 3.44 grams of crack cocaine respectively."
