A BDF volunteer soldier was today sentenced to 17 years and 10 months imprisonment after he was convicted of raping a 17-year-old girl.
31-year-old Mark Nolberto reportedly hit the girl in her head with a metal cup, forced her to perform oral sex on him, then raped her while recording the act.
On July 3rd, Nolberto was found guilty of two counts of rape; however, back in April, he was originally charged with 4 counts of rape and one count of attempted rape. The first count of rape was alleged to have occurred on April 5th, while the other two counts reportedly happened the next day. He was found guilty of the latter two, which were linked to the recording that was found on his cellphone.
The 4th count of rape and the count of attempted rape were dismissed following a no-case submission.
