If it weren't for a 7News post, it's an incident that might have slipped completely under the radar.
But after we reported on Wednesday that Stoney Anson Ferguson had disrespected and assaulted Placencia police while also damaging their mobile four days earlier, suddenly things started to move.
No less than the Minister of National Security Julius Espat made it known that no one was above the law and he would have to face charges.
And so he has. Yesterday Ferguson was arrested and charged for aggravated assault and insulting words. He was granted bail and awaits another court date. On Saturday Ferguson allegedly drove off from police, assaulted an officer, and shattered a police windshield.
