September Celebrations Has A Running Start

There's a new steering committee at the helm for this year's September Celebrations, led by the Tourism Board and chaired by Mayor David Fonseca, and the group has hit the ground running. For the first time in years, the calendar of events has been publicized before September. In fact, this year it's ready before August. This years' September kicks off with a Cultural Gala on August 31st, with official opening ceremonies on the 5th, followed by the Queen of the Bay Pageant. Later on in the month, the Mighty Sparrow and Beres Hammond will perform. Still, if you've got an event, send it in to the steering committee's office at the Tourism Board now because the final calendar will be announced on August 15th.
