It's the last place most of us would want to spend the holidays, but Christmas will meet some people in a hospital like the KHMH. To add some cheer to the hospital, staff members at Continental Airlines pooled their money and time to get the KHMH a Christmas tree. This afternoon they were decorating the lobby which according to country manager Kim Aikman is their way of brining joy to the KHMH.

Kim Aikman, Continental Country Manager
"We tried to do it to just try to lift the spirits of anybody who is sick at this time. This should be a joyous time and we just wanted to lift spirits. If they can't be at home, where I'm sure they'll have their Christmas tree to look at, at least when they walk through the door they'll feel as much as home as possible seeing a tree here."

"As you know this time of year we do a lot of fundraising. We have a lot of requests for different donations and we do the 'Toys for Tots,' we had a fashion show and we raised some money for that. And then the staff decided that they would each donate $10 and we started with that and we got enough money to buy the trees and the decorations."
