He dominated Punta Rock in the mid 90s with a string of back-to-back hits. From "married to ah" to "sush" to "baby shower," Chico ruled the airwaves and the dance floor. And while he may have taken a backseat in recent years, the crown prince of Punta is back. Don't call it a greatest hits collection but on his CD "Sports," Ramos says there is something old and something new.
Chico Ramos,
"We have some old hits like me and Supa G did 'conch soup' over and me and Mohobub did 'Aou Tu Ma Da' over and of course we have the neighborhood watch song on it and I performed that song at the national neighborhood watch concert in Belmopan at the George Price Building. We have some nice tunes on it, very nice."
"Sports" is now available at all music outlets.
