On December first, we told you about Lisa Tang, who'd won a brand new Nissan Frontier in a raffle sponsored by Habet and Habet and Bravo Motors. At the time, she was so pleased with her win, that she immediately cut a check for $500 to the Living with Hope Aids charity. And today Bravo Motors and Brother Habet did the same. Their check was for $5,000 and as Eddie Bouloy explained, it's the profits from the raffle.
Eddie Bouloy, Bravo Motors
"We realized very early on when we started this marketing campaign that we could make a profit and if we made a profit, we wanted to give that money to a worthy organization. This past year we chose the Living with Hope Organization because of the way they are run and because of the people that they help and we are very happy to be able to donate this check to them. This check is as a result of the sale of raffle tickets, it's a profit from our raffle. We wish it could be a lot bigger but as they say, every little bit counts."
Bravo will include a cut for charities in future raffles.
