On last week Friday’s newscast we told you about Azizi Hoy – the charming 10 year old Ms. Mini Universe who was moved by the saddening story of Tarrell Sutherland – the 4 year old with the skin condition, ichtyosis. And she wasn’t just moved like the rest of us – she was moved to do something – even if it meant breaking open her piggy bank.
And that something was a benefit concert. It was held last Friday night and we can report that after paying the cost to stage the event Azizi raised $2,064 for Tarell. While the money has been put in his account, he was there for the show and the symbolic handing over.
