A True Gentle Man Passes

In June of this year, we followed up on Herbert Gentle on his one hundred and second birthday. The good natured former cyclist and consummate gentleman who came in second in the 1934 Cross Country was still willing to share the wisdom of a long life well lived.

Tonight, we regret to report that this very senior citizen has passed. He died on Monday morning at the KHMH. He had been taken to the hospital from the sister Cecilia Home on Sunday. Funeral services have not been announced….
