It's been a hard and confusing year for the vendors that make up Belmopan's bi-weekly market day. They'd been pushed around for years, even before Covid. And once social distancing measures became a reality the market's parking lot home became problematic.

Enter a new private solution, one that's allowed the market, the cultural and economic hub of the city the wide-open space it needed to thrive like never before. I headed to the Capital's new market plaza this morning to see what I could find in the market milieu:
