And, finally tonight, the Garifuna Collective stopped by the Sunup set this morning to tell us about their upcoming European tour.
We'll have that entire story for you tomorrow night but while we had them we asked their opinion on The Belize Food And Music Fest at the end of this month. It's set to be Belize's signature summer music festival.
But the trouble with that - as the Collective would know all too well - is that Summer music fests dominate the global music scene at this time of year - and because of the dates, this one will be forced to compete for ticket sales with all the best music fests that the U.S., the U.K, and Europe have to offer, a good many of which have the Garifuna collective on their lineup.
Here's a bit of their critique for Belize's music fest, and their good wishes too.
The Collective will depart for Europe next week Monday, July 25th.
