He Founded The Park, Now The City Will Carry It On

Back in 2017, Gee Michael Reid founded the Charlie Burton Park to keep the children in the neighborhood occupied and away from criminal elements. Five years later, the park continues to accomplish that objective, and today, Reid handed over management and ownership to the City Council. But with his house right next door, Reid says he'll still be keeping an eye out on the park and the kids who play in it.

Today at the handing over ceremony, we asked him how the park has transformed the neighborhood.
