Lobster Fest In The City?

Lobster Fest is going home this weekend to Caye Caulker, the island that started it all. But while it has branched out to San Pedro and Placencia, will it also come to Belize City? The idea might sound bizarre for a swampland city, but it has been floated. The mayor says why not:

"Is it too early to talk about Belize City Lobster Fest?"

"It's too early but it's something that we are excited for and we would support. Lobster is a food that Belizeans crave so why not have a Lobster Fest as well in the city and so we have met several people yesterday who were interested in leading that and we would support it."
