Belizean-American author, "Bev E." today released a revised and expanded version to one of her original works from 1998.
"While Passing Through" details the stories of traumatic events she endured while growing up in Belize.
She says it's a story of healing and learning to overcome and find hope in the most devastating of situations. The launch ceremony was held today at the Leo Bradley library and here's what she shared with us at the book signing.

Bev E, Author
"I really want the public to get this that it's just not about being raped, it's about healing because one of the greatest things to me is for a woman or child to be healed and live a life that they can atleast be in society and function well in society even after all the evils that has happened to them."
"While passing through, when you pick this book up, what is the first thing that you would like to convey to your readers?"
"Healing, healing, healing you can go to your lowest but you can come back up there is always, always hope no matter how low you are there is always hope. Talk to somebody, tell somebody and not everyone is going to go and tell your business just be able to talk to somebody but again loving yourself as well. It's not a one two type thing that I can say but the most important thing is healing and loving oneself because after being hurt and in so much pain we sometimes betray the wrong people. See hurt people hurt people like justice Moore said hurt people hurt people so it's very difficult if all you know is how to hurt."
"But if you understand who you are the power that is within you and the will to overcome is just such a joy."
The book retails for $30 and is available for print or E book format on Amazon.
