Today, the United Nations held a media training, focusing on the United Nations and the Sustainable Development Goals; Reporting on Gender-Based Violence and People on the Move; as well as the promotion of Human Rights.
The purpose was to give media personnel an introductory look on these topics as well as provide resources where they can find accurate information that will help in their reporting. The training was entitled, "Leaving No One Behind," and was held in-person as well as virtually. The team leader in the Resident Coordinator's office, Tracy Hutchinson, told us more.
